INSTRUMENT OF RATIFICATION
TO ALL TO WHOJ4 TE PE4T5 SHALL COME, GREIGS:
KNOW YE, that whereas the Treaty between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines end the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand Relating to Extradition was signed in Manila on 16 March 1981;
WHEREAS, the Treaty enumerates the extraditable criminal offenses which do not include political crimes, except when they involve “taking or attempted taking of the life of the Head of State or Acting Head of State or Head of Government of either of the Parties or a member of his family;”
WHEREAS, the Treaty shall enter into force on the date of the exchange of the Instruments of Ratification;.
NOW, TIEDNE, be it known that I, FDINAND E. MASDOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, alter having seen and considered the aforesaid Treaty which was signed in Manila on 16 March 1981, do hereby ratify the same arid every article and clause thereof.
