Indonesian Police Raid ‘Gay Spa’
Police in Indonesia arrested up to 51 men in a raid on a mens spa on Friday, Indonesian Expat reports. .
As well as Indonesian nationals, men from Singapore, Thailand, China, Malaysia and the Netherlands were arrested. However, none of the foreign men will be charged.

Jakarta police spokesperson Argo Yuwono gave a vague statement about the raid. “LGBT is clearly between men and men or same-sex relationships. Male prostitution”, he said.
Despite the fact that homosexuality isn’t illegal in the country, there has been a fierce police crackdown on the gay community. Earlier this year, more than 100 men were arrested in a similar raid and charged with violating pornography laws.
