CDC Whistleblower Allegedly Granted Immunity to Testify on Autism-Vaccine Debate
The CDC researcher who exposed an alleged breach in the CDC’s research on a correlation between vaccine’s and autism, William Thompson, has reportedly been granted immunity from prosecution to testify before Congress, according to Jon Rapporport’s Blog
Thompson became an accidental whistleblower after a private conversation on the matter was recorded unbeknownst to him and later released to the public.
In a statement released by his attorney on August 27, Thompson admitted that “he and colleagues at the CDC violated the protocol in a study on the MMR vaccine’s connection to autism,” as worded by Rapporport.
Thompson has “maintained silence and has refused to talk to reporters” since then.
Rapporport says that Thompson’s testimony at a Congressional hearing could expose the CDC’s alleged cover up, but only if the Committee asks the right questions and don’t dilute the situation to a one-day, “he-said-she-said” hearing.
A Congressional hearing has not been scheduled yet, though, and it remains to be seen if, and when, it will be.
