Bangkok ShutDown
Bangkok has gone into shutdown, which is expected to last for at least 15 days as protesters put pressure on Thai prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra to step down. Protestors are targeting seven areas across Bangkok but have said they will not stop the BTS or the MRT. Visitors to Bangkok are advised to keep an eye on the news over forthcoming days and to avoid the protest sites.
