Thailand Partially Decriminalizes Cannabis for Non-medical use
Thailand recently enacted an amendment to the Thailand cannabis Law removing most of the plant from list of illegal drugs on December 14, 2020, it was published in the Royal Gazette that marijuana was not classified as a category 5 narcotic, but some parts of it were still restricted.

Medical cannabis was legalized 2019 in Thailand. And other currently hospital and clinics across Thailand prescribe medical cannabis in the form of sublingual and oral preparations, however dried Cannabis flowers and leaves are not normally prescribed by medical practitioners.
Marijuana cultivation is currently allowed only with government issued by medical practitioners a license in general. Farmers still need to be formally associated community enterprises under cooperation with government agencies that regulate the cultivation process.
The new amendment also decriminalizes hemp, kratom, opium, and psilocybin mushrooms.
According to the Criminal defense law goes at attorney (Chaninat law office) new amendment only relate to of the cannabis plants that have leaves patency (stems leaves) and regard that the cannabis be grown by a licensed entity or person.
