Thai Government Cracking Down on Gambling
Thailand’s Anti-Money Laundering Agency seized an underground gambling den in Bang Sue last week, and is investigating several more illegal gambling operations.
The raid on the Tao Poon casino in Bang Sue involved the arrest of almost 200 gamblers and the confiscation of slot machines, betting chips and other gambling paraphernalia.

AMLO had been investigating the Tao Poon casino since the land it sits on is worth nearly 10 million baht and was subleased multiple times before being rented to the casino’s owner.
