Hot! Thai Supermodel Claps Back on Police Campaign to Prevent Sexual Harassment

6947230800_ac72076767_zThe latest in social media campaigns for women’s rights after the #MeToo movement was started earlier this week by Thai-American 1996 Miss Universe, Cindy Sirinya.

She posted a video response to Thai police advising females to dress appropriately during Songkran by not wearing “clothes that [were] too revealing”. In her Instagram video, she criticizes the police campaign by saying that what “women wore was not a justification for sexual harassment” and that it is the men who should be acting appropriately towards women.

Sirinya may have pointed out a deeper societal issue in that the way Thailand showed protection of women’s rights is still very backwards, comments netizens on Facebook that support her speaking out.
