Notice of U.S. Visa Application Fee Changes
The processing fees for several types of U.S. immigrant visa applications were changed and went into effect September 12, 2014, according to the National Law Review.
Applicants who file a family-based immigrant visa petition type will pay an increased fee, while applicants of all other immigrant visa petition types will pay a reduced processing fee.
The petition types affected, according to the National Law Review, are:
– I-130 (Immediate Relative and Family Petitions): $325.00 per applicant.
– I-140 (Employment-Based Petitions): $345.00 per applicant.
– Other petition types including I-360 (Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant): $205.00 per applicant.
