Hot! Nigerian Online Scammers Nabbed

Two Nigerian online scammers, who defrauded almost 20 million baht from Thai women in a marriage hoax, were arrested today by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI).

Chaninat and Leeds attorneys are Bangkok Criminal Lawyers specializing in Thai criminal cases involving foreigners.

The Nigerians allegedly pretended to be U.S. Marines in Afghanistan who promised to marry the women upon release from the service. They asked women to wire them money to pay for their discharge fees, scamming almost 400 women via online chatrooms and Facebook.
