Man Publicly Hanged for Rape and Murder of 7-Year Old in Iran
According to the New York Times a man was hanged in a public execution after allegedly confessing to the rape and murder of a 7-year old girl.
Esmail Jafarzadeh, 42, was hanged in Parsabad town square on Wednesday. He was convicted of the murder of Atena Aslani in August, and handed a death sentence earlier this month.
Thai and International attorneys at Chaninat & Leeds assist with the removal of arrest notices wrongfully issued by Interpol.
Iran’s President, Hassan Rouhani, said the crime was ‘horrendous’, urging authorities to deal with him as quickly as possible. Prosecutor Naser Atabati said that his swift execution was made a spectacle to “restore the citizens’ sense of security and relieve their troubled minds”.
