Colorado Adultery Law Set to be Repealed
The little-known and rarely applied law in Colorado banning adultery is set to come off the books. The outdated law makes adultery illegal, although it doesn’t specify what the criminal penalty is.
The law was enacted in the late 19th century when Colorado was entering statehood, in an effort to encourage women to settle in the state. It reassured them that if their husbands cheated on them, they would be protected under law. The adultery law also made it a crime to contribute to “sexual immorality” by providing a place for people to have pre-marital or adulterous sex, such as a hotel or brothel.
The repeal of the law has passed its first hearing and moves on to a full House for a final vote.
In Thailand, adultery is a ground for divorce. Thailand is relatively traditional in its family approach, as it supports a policy of attempting to preserve the family unit through requiring grounds for the divorce. Nevertheless, consensual divorce is allowed in Thailand divorce cases.

It is really great that there are laws which supports a policy of attempting to preserve the family unit through requiring grounds for the divorce. Also, this will really help women against their cruel husbands.
