CDC Allegedly Covers Up Data Proving Vaccines Caused Autism

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) allegedly covered up findings about a link between the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine and autism, which senior scientist, William W. Thompson, unknowingly revealed in a recently recorded conversation, reports Sonoran News.

In a statement released by his lawyer, Thompson said, according to Sonoran News, that statistically significant data that “suggested that African American males who received the MMR vaccine before age 36 months were at increased risk for autism” was omitted from an article published in 2004 that he coauthored.

Thompson’s statements on the matter reportedly became public knowledge after Dr. Brian Hooker, a Ph.D. scientist who has a son with severe autism, recorded several of their conversations about the CDC studies and autism. 

Hooker went on to publish a separate reanalysis of the CDC’s data in August 2014, which Sonoran News reports “revealed a 340 percent increased risk of autism in African American children after receiving the MMR vaccine.”

According to Sonoran News, the CDC may have known about the associated risk of autism to MMR vaccines as early as 2002, “but chose to suppress that information from being made public.”
