The NSA US spy agency is currently in the News for its massive spying on private civilians and political allies and enemies alike has threatened lawsuits against several companies who produced products poking fun at them. One such company has now hit back with a lawsuit of their own reports Infowars.
Dan McCall, who created several t-shirts on the website Zazzle is suing both the NSA and The Department of Homeland Security, for violating his First Amendment rights.

According to Infowars, the Obama administration is increasingly characterizing copyright infringement as terrorism, with SWAT teams now being sent out to deal with alleged copyright infringers. Critics have noted that the process is about creating a history of case law to establish the precedent of stamping out free speech via copyright claims.

Apparently the US government and the Kuwaiti government share some similarities in their treatment of offensive speech.
In Kuwait, a Shia Muslim man’s 10-year prison sentence has been upheld by the Court of Appeals which found him guilty of “insulting” Islam and the Sunni Muslim monarchies of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia when he posted statements on Twitter reports Scoop.
He failed to persuade judges that unidentified hackers used his Twitter account to make the illegal statements.
“Ten years in prison for peaceful criticism shows just how little Kuwait respects freedom of expression,” said Joe Stork, HRW’s deputy Middle East director on Tuesday 29 October.
