Victims of Cambodia’s Mines

After nearly three decades of war and internal conflict Cambodia has become one of the most heavily mined countries in the world.

The landmines are from the time period starting in the late 1960s to 1998.

Between 1979, the end of the Khmer Rouge period, and in June 2012, landmines have killed a total of 19,641 people and left 44,480 injured in Cambodia.
