Senator of Kentucky Rand Paul has criticized Florida Governor Jeb Bush, for admitting he smoked marijuana in high school, reports Local SYR.

Paul argues that his “hypocrisy” is an example of why drug laws in the U.S. need to change.
In previous interviews, Bush admitted his use of marijuana whilst at the prestigious Phillips Academy in Massachusetts, and it came up again during Wednesday’s Republican presidential primary debate.
Speaking at the University of Nevada-Reno on Thursday, Paul told students “He didn’t go to jail… why? Because he was rich, and he was elite, and he was going to a very special school.”
The law governing drug crimes in Thailand is the Narcotic Regulation Act. Thailand Marijuana lawyers Chaninat and Leeds have decades of experience helping foreigners handle marijuana related arrests.
Although Paul argues he doesn’t begrudge Bush’s exclusive education, he says that Bush supports policies that result in lower-income and minority people receiving long jail sentences for using the drug.
“What I do have a problem with is he still wants to put kids in jail for marijuana,” Paul said. “What I was upset with Jeb Bush was his hypocrisy.”
Bush countered:
“I don’t want to put poor people in jail, Rand […] We have a serious epidemic of drugs that goes far beyond marijuana […] It is appropriate for the government to play a consistent role.”
