Two Tier System Emerging In British Divorce Court

Leading UK family lawyers have commented that the British divorce courts are turning into a two tier system for the rich and poor with more wealthy couples choosing to settle their case privately feeling the standard process is taking too long reports Voice of Russia UK.

Seniors lawyers, such as Gavin Scott a managing partner at the Stowe Family Law firm, claim that the family justice system in Britain is beginning to look like the nation’s healthcare system – where patients can choose between the National Health Service and private providers. Divorcing spouses who have sufficient funds can choose to ‘go private’ so they have control over the time, place and even the judge who deals with their case.
