Thailand to Raise Standard of Blind Massage Parlors

The blind to receive legal venue registrations for massage parlors

Phuket Gazette reports that The Thailand Association of the Blind(TAB) held a discussion on how to boost the standard of blind massage parlors and how to better their registration process.

According to the Gazette, Mr. Surat, Deputy Director of TAB said that, under their association, more than 7000 people from the blind community have received education that helped them obtain a job or open their own massage parlors.

Under the Healthcare Act, rules have been carried out in “legalizing massage businesses via registrations as official venues without any illegal activities.”
