Thai authorities are accelerating efforts to tackle criminal activity in the next two months.

As The Nation reports, the government have set a November deadline to decrease illegal fishing and human-trafficking problems.
Additional amendments are to be added to the Fisheries Act, which seeks to meet international regulations on fishing as required by the EU.
The European Union have previously issued a warning to Thailand that the kingdom faces a ban on seafood exports to Europe if they do not comply with their standards. If Thailand were to lose their exports there would be a loss of billions of baht to the economy.
