The move has sparked social media outrage

RT reports that Sweden is considering giving jihadists returning from Syria and Iraq free housing, drivers’ license and tax benefits to ease their reintegration into society.
The move was proposed in Lund by Municipal coordinator against violent extremism, Anna Sjöstrand.
She said that “There may be criticism, but [I think] that you should get the same help as others who seek help from us. We can’t say that because you made a wrong choice, you have no rights to come back and live in our society,” on Swedish Sveriges Radio.

The move has been heavily condemned on social media according to RT. One user posted “Lund wants to help terrorists with housing, driver’s license and job, but forgets the victims,” on twitter and another added “Rapists, child murderers, terrorists. Everyone should be treated equally.”
People have also called for Sjöstrand’s resignation with a user posting “Anna Sjöstrand, of course you should say ‘You have made a choice and are never welcome back.”’
The radio station reported that Swedish cities of Malmö, Borlänge, and Örebro are also looking to adopt a similar stance.
In the city of Örebro, two IS fighters had been accepted into a municipal internship which they denied to go back to Syria, where they were both killed in an attack reports RT.
