A brochure that was targeted to new arrivals to Sweden had outlined how adults in child marriages should live in regards to intimacy and other aspects of life. The brochure was heavily criticized by political leaders and the Swedish public.
Sweden’s Democrat party leader, Akesson comments on how the content of the brochure fails to mention anything about how marrying a minor under the age of 18 is a criminal offense in Sweden and instead “legitimizes adults marrying children”.

Akesson has publicly called for the resignation of whomever on the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare published the brochure, which has now been removed from the government website. An official from the board has responded to the heavy criticisms that they will be issuing a revision of the brochure.
