France: Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former IMF chief, is on trial for allegedly supplying sex workers for a prostitution ring, but denies the charges of pimping against him, reports the BBC.

According to the BBC, Strauss-Kahn told the court that prosecutors greatly exaggerated the frequency of his “licentious evenings” and that he had only taken part in 12 sex parties in three years.

Strauss-Kahn defended himself by claiming that he did not know the women he is accused of supplying to a prostitution ring were prostitutes.

The criminal defense attorneys at Chaninat and Leeds are experts on Thailand criminal law and have defended clients in Thailand since 1997.

Prostitution is not illegal in France, but supplying prostitutes or assisting in supplying them is, reports the BBC.

Strauss-Kahn is among 13 co-accused on the case, all facing charges of “aggravated pimping.”
