Sex With Robots Won’t Take Over, Says Sex Robot Maker

ThaiLawForum has previously written about the development of sex robots and how they could potentially take over red light districts, and possibly make even loving relationships seem terribly quaint and old fashioned.

But now, Matt McMullen, founder of leading sex robot company RealDoll says that sex robots are NOT going to become the norm, and are certainly not going to take over from human-on-human sexual relationships.

As Engaget reports, despite numerous scientists, journalists and “sexperts” claiming that sex with robots is the future, McMullen insists that he is not trying to replace flesh and blood sex between people, and that it’s highly unlikely that the average man on the street will ever use his product.

Company registration lawyers in Thailand Chaninat and Leeds have successfully been registering companies in Thailand for decades.

Previously, futurologist Ian Pearson among many others have asserted that some form of virtual sex will become the norm as soon as 2030.

In the UK Dr Kathleen Richardson, a robot ethicist is running a campaign to see the development of artificial intelligence sex robots prohibited, calling them “very disturbing indeed.”

In terms of artificial intelligence being used in robots, McMullen also says that this technology is being used in far more worrying ways, and it’s really those we should be concerned about.
