Scottish Man Seeks Law Change to “Divorce” Parents

A man in Scotland is seeking a change in law so he can “divorce” his adoptive parents, reports the Daily Record.

Joseph Duncalf, 49, is appealing to politicians to allow him to cut ties from the couple who raised him in England.

He says: “My adoption was a bad one and I want to bring it to an end.

Adoption lawyers in Thailand Chaninat and Leeds are experts in Thai family law.

“We had an uneasy relationship with no closeness. We were just going through the motions. We don’t speak at all now and I never really felt part of the family.”

Duncalf believes his adoptive parents never accepted his homosexuality, and that they tried to put him back into care as a result.
