Robert DeNiro has spoken out in regard to the Tribeca Film Festival controversy, which recently chose to cut the documentary Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe, from its program.
DeNiro, appeared on The Today Show with fellow festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal, and appeared slightly emotional when discussing the documentary on the topic of the alleged link between the MMR vaccine and autism.

DeNiro’s wife believes there was a connection between their son receiving the jab and his subsequent autism. DeNiro states that he is not anti-vaccine, but wants vaccines to be safe.
