“Tase his ass right now” shouts the angry judge
Michigan Circuit Judge McBain was seen on video tossing his robe aside and helping take down a defiant defendant.
McBain yelled “tase his ass ass right now” to the security guard who was tackling the defendant, after which he helped tackle the defendant to the ground.
Jacob Larson had been charged with breaking a protection order against an ex girlfriend. Larson was first given a three day sentence by the Judge, which quickly escalated to 93 days after constant back talking by the defendant.

Larson was charged with messaging his ex girlfriend on Facebook after she had filed a protection order against him. He claimed that she was asking for his attention by posting pictures of herself with her “hair done and all that stuff, the full nine” according to mlive.
The action is a rare instance in which a judge uses physical force. Another Michigan Circuit Judge Thomas Wilson condoned the action and said as reported by mlive “A judge has the power to take whatever action is necessary to maintain order in the courtroom.” He also added that circuit judges have the power to make arrests.
