Red Notice Still Active for Red Bull Heir Hit and Run Case

by Admin on March 20, 2018

A spokesperson from the Royal Thai Police has replied to criticisms that the Red Notice for Boss Yoovidhya who killed a police officer in a hit and run incident in 2012 is not visible on the Interpol website. The spokesperson commented that the Red Notice is still active, just because you cannot see it on the website does not mean it has “[deterred] the Thai police”.

Latest checks from the RTP show that Boss has not been sighted in any of the Interpol member countries or countries with an extradition agreement with Thailand. Boss had four charges against him, three have expired and a “reckless driving causing death” is still a valid warrant for his arrest.

The Red Bull heir has evaded his court case since 2012. Under the Interpol system, the Red Notice seeks his location for extradition or a similar lawful action.
