Over the weekend, the Nebraska Supreme Court tossed out a prenuptial agreement that a central Nebraska judge earlier ruled had turned the bride into an “indentured servant.” The prenup was signed by the bride just five days before the wedding amidst pressure that if she did not sign, the wedding would be called off. For us “farangs” living outside of the populsr tourist destinations it is quite difficult to find a qualified lawyer…especially one knowledgeable in international prenuptial laws! 🙁
