An Animal rights lawyer has called for stricter laws for the protection of animals after a Vietnamese pot belly pig was nursed back to health by the BC SPCA, adopted and less than a month later was eaten by it’s new owners.

Expert divorce lawyers in Thailand advise that it matters where the marriage was registered in order to follow the correct jurisdiction proceedings for prenuptial contracts in Thailand.

As tragic as the situation was for the SPCA, the owners had technically broken no law by killing the pig as long as it was done humanely which, is what the owners had claimed in an apology to social media.

The controversy that sparked over the incident shows a change in values towards animals from the laws that were written half a century ago in BC, Canada. An animal justice executive explains how we now see “cats and dogs as family members”.
