An online report about a ‘no visa’ policy for Filipinos in the United States has been confirmed as a hoax, by the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C reports ABS/CBN news.com.
In a statement posted on its website, the embassy said “The embassy of the Republic of the Philippines would like to inform the public that there is no truth to what appears to be an online news report that the United States has announced a ‘no visa’ policy for Filipinos.

Meanwhile, the US Embassy in Manila confirmed via its twitter feed that there has been no change in the visa policy for Filipinos traveling to the US.
