Nine-Year-Old Suspended for ‘Threatening’ Friend with Magic

by Admin on February 13, 2015

A 9-year-old boy attending Kermit Elementary School in West Texas was suspended for threatening the safety of another student with make-believe magic, reports Jonathan Turley.

The fourth-grader, who had just seen the movie “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” told a friend he would turn him invisible with the “one ring” like Bilbo Baggins.

The Thailand child custody lawyers at Chaninat and Leeds have assisted Thai, international and multinational families in Thai Family Courts since 1997.

The father reportedly said Principal Roxanne Greer told him threats to another child’s safety – even if they were make-believe – would not be tolerated.

The parents said this is their son’s third suspension and wrote a letter to the school saying, “I assure you my son lacks the magical powers necessary to threaten his friend’s existence. If he did, I’m sure he’d bring him right back.”
