Museum of Thai Corruption Soon to Open

Preparations are going ahead to open the first of its kind “National Museum of Political Corruption” that will highlight 10 major corruption cases in Thai history, reports Thai PBS.

The museum will open on September 6th to mark National Anti-Corruption Day.

Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand, Pramon Suthiwong, yesterday revealed that the museum will expose 10 significant cases of corruption, as well as publicly condemning the individuals involved that caused damage and loss to the kingdom.

Amongst the 10 corruption cases to be showcased are the rice pledging schemes, police station construction fraud and the Bangkok Film Festival case.

The Thai prime minister will be guest of honor at the opening ceremony.

The government is working hard to establish a plan to tackle corruption across the Kingdom.
