An investigation has been launched against former NBC host Matt Lauer, including the accounts of three women who wish to remain anonymous. One of them did disclose that Lauer had a button under his desk that could lock the door from the inside, another account of indecently exposing himself and staff members commenting that “for Lauer, work and sex were intertwined”.
Matt Lauer, says there are some truths to the sexual misconduct allegations against him. He is “ashamed and embarrassed”, tells The Guardian.
Lauer is the latest dominant media figure to join the scandals of politicians and celebrities being ousted for sexual harassment.
