A bus mechanic in New York is suing three of his coworkers for allegedly harassing him on his last day of work, reports Courthouse News Service.
Kevin Hoit filed a federal lawsuit seeking punitive and compensatory damages for the physical injury and emotional trauma Hoit says he suffered after being allegedly assaulted.
Courthouse News reports the defendants in the case are the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA), the public transit provider where Hoit was formerly employeed; the agency’s chief executive and two maintenance officials; and the three co-workers who allegedly took part in the incident: Juan Baez, Tony Clanton and Frank Mancini.

According to Hoit’s complaint, he was assaulted while working his last shift at the CDTA in late 2013.
Hoit claims he was thrown to the ground by 300 pound Clanton, and that Baez “tea-bagged” him – a sexual act where one person places their testicles on another person – while Mancini took pictures of the incident.
According to Courthouse News, Hoit said he suffered “severe anxiety and depression” after the incident and that the defendants’ acts merit punitive damages for being “cruel and uncivilized.”
