A man in Austria has been fined under an anti-burqa law for wearing a full-body shark costume, BBC News  reports.

The law, which only came into effect this month, was enacted to ban face veils often worn by Muslims. It prohibits any face coverings, stating that in public areas, the face must be visible ‘from hairline to chin’.

Police are now calling for the law to be made clearer.
