A Louisiana judge, Cicale, has been detained for allegedly stealing his neighbor’s underwear. The judge had broken into a 23 year old’s, college graduates home and proceeded to take multiple pairs of under garments into his jacket before being caught by police.
He is currently being charged with burglary in the second degree, has been stripped of his title and is awaiting state of court appeals to decide whether he will be suspended with or without pay. Cicale, has reportedly written a letter of apology to the victim and her family.
A Suffolk County District Attorney has commented on the situation that the case is “highly disturbing” and that authorities want to make a point that “no one is above the law”. The judge has confessed that this is not the first time he has had the urge to steal women’s underwear.
