Lesbian Couple to Get $80,000 After Being Arrested For Kissing

by Admin on May 23, 2016

A lesbian couple may be awarded an $80,000 settlement by a federal court in Honolulu, after they alleged a police officer arrested them upon seeing them kiss in a grocery store.

Courtney Wilson and Taylor Guerrero, both from Los Angeles, were visiting Hawaii last year when they claim the officer didn’t like their display of affection in a Foodland store on Oahu’s North Shore.

The settlement is still subject to City Council approval.

Personal injury lawyers in Thailand Chaninat and Leeds have been helping victims get the compensation they deserve for decades.

In Hawaii, same sex marriage was legalized in 2013, and same sex couples should enjoy the same rights as opposite sex couples.
