Lawyers Disbarred for Planting Drugs

by Admin on September 12, 2017

Two California lawyers were disbarred after being caught planting drugs in the car of a woman who worked at their son’s school, Law.com reports.

Kent and Jill Easter, who were then married, were convicted of false imprisonment, disbarred, and sentenced to incarceration of 180 days and 60 days respectively.

They had plotted to frame Kelli Peters in order to get her fired from the school. Kent Easter’s DNA was found on the drugs in Peters’ car, and he and his wife were subsequently arrested.
