Khaosan Road Interview: Ban on Street Food

by Admin on May 3, 2017

Thailawforum took to the streets of Khaosan to ask tourists and locals their thoughts on the government’s street food ban

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) announced in April that sale of street food will be banned in all the 50 districts by the end of the month in an effort to “return the pavement to the pedestrians,” and restore “order and hygiene.”

Thailawforum’s Georgina Donn took to the streets of Bangkok to ask tourists and locals alike how they felt about the ban and if they think it will affect tourism in the country.
