Thailand’s Commerce Ministry’s Business Development Department intends to focus its investigation on the use of foreign-owned companies with Thai national nominees, reports The Nation.
The department plans to employ stringent law enforcement to prevent problems under the Foreign Business Act.

10 sectors are to be inspected. They are: food and beverage, tourism, property rental, the property trade, car rental, spa, handicraft and souvenir retail, Internet retailing, direct sales, and education consultants.
