A sunken Indonesian ferry was found at the bottom of Lake Toba today with 192 passengers missing and presumed dead.

Officials said the vessel was extremely overloaded beyond its capacity of 40.

The ferry went down during bad weather carrying over 200 people. Only 18 were rescued.

Among those saved was the Captain Tua Sagala, who was detained but too traumatized to undergo questioning as of yet.

Lake Toba, the world’s largest volcanic lake and a popular attraction, is located on the island of Sumatra. Many of the dead are presumed to be tourists.
