Indiana Bill Makes Deceased’s Votes Count

Votes cast from absentee ballots by people who die before Election Day may still be valid if Indiana bill passes, reports IndyStar.

The bill was conceived after U.S. Rep. Frank McCloskey’s absentee vote didn’t count because he died from cancer before the 2004 Election Day.

Rep. Matt Pierce pointed out that checking for deaths of absentee voters is irregular amongst county clerks.

The family attorneys at Thai law firm Chaninat and Leeds are experts on Thailand inheritance laws and assisting families in Thai Family Courts.

Indiana’s constitution requires voters to live in a precinct for 30 days before an election, and Indiana Election Division co-director Brad King said, according to IndyStar, that allowing such votes might potentially violate that requirement.
