Illinois Paternity Group Pushing for Law to Award 50/50 Custody

A group called Illinois Fathers for Equality is working towards getting a bill signed by the Illinois Governer to allow for 50/50 shared custody. Current legislation regarding child custody rights usually awards one parent with majority custody.

For inquiry over the procedure to gain custody of children in Thailand, it is advised to contact family law experts.

The group is not just aimed at fathers or mothers but other types of guardians as well. They are pushing for more equal custody rights due to research showing that kids who have a 50/50 parental agreement results in a reduced suicide rate, teen pregnancy and other types of behavioral problems, reports WTHI-TV.
