Illinois Judge Reprimands Lawyers In Missing Malaysia Flight

According to a Reuters report  an Illinois judge on Monday dismissed a U.S. law firm’s motion to compel evidence of design and manufacturing defects from Boeing and Malaysia Airways in connection with the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. The plane disappeared three weeks ago and has not yet been located.

Cook County Judge Kathy Flanagan dismissed the motion and also threatened to impose sanctions against the law firm if they continue to file frivolous motions.  Apparently no formal complaint has been accepted in the Illinois Court regarding the missing Malaysia airplane.  Newspaper reports have speculated that the law firm’s motion may have been a publicity stunt.
