House Approves Tax Law Negotiations with US

On 13 November 2013, the Government won House approval to start negotiations with the US to start negotiating about an agreement on the US’s Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FACTA) reports The Nation.

The FATCA was enacted in 2010 by Congress to target non-compliance by US taxpayers using foreign accounts.
