Happy Thanksgiving to All, Near and Far

It’s the last Thursday of November. If you are an American actually living in America, this means that you are currently sleeping peacefully, with visions of turkey and pumpkin pie dancing in your head. If you are an American living in Thailand,  you are  trying to quell feelings of homesickness and envy. More importantly you are probably attempting to find a decent Thanksgiving dinner for yourself, your family, and your friends. Thankfully, there are a lot of options for forlorn, turkey-craving Americans searching for Thanksgiving dinner in Bangkok; a number of Bangkok restaurants serve all-you-can eat buffet feasts, complete with turkey, side dishes, and sometimes a multitude of non-American dishes to round everything out.

Lastly, if you’re a turkey, today is not such a great day for you. Apparently, American turkey farmers disapproved of the following PETA-sponsored Thanksgiving video so much that the commercial was banned from television. We cannot imagine why…
