Wikileaks released more incriminating Democratic National Committee (DNC) documents on September 13 from hacker Guccifer 2.0.

According to The Observer, the leaks include severe corruption within the DNC.  Among the leaked documents was an email from at attorney Jacquelyn Lopez at law firm Perkins Coie setting up a meeting with the DNC staff to “go over handling donations from donors who have given us pay to play letters.”

The leaks also include a list of donors who have in turn received ambassadorship for their contributions to the campaign. The highest contributor was Matthew Barzun with over $3.5 million in donations. He served as U.S. Ambassador to Sweden from 2009 to 2011 and as President Obama’s National Finance Chair during his 2012 reelection campaign. He is currently the U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Chaninat & Leeds Attorneys in Thailand specialize in serious civil and criminal fraud cases in Thailand

Other major contributors include Julius Genachowski and Frank Sanchez, both with donations just under $3.5 million. Genachowski was appointed chairman of the FCC in 2009 and Sanchez was appointed to Undersecretary of Commerce for International Trade by Obama in 2010.

The DNC has tried to undermine the leaks by claiming them to be a cyber attack organized by the Russian government.
