Ghana’s Law to Evict Ministers

Previous ministers were not handing back state owned property

Ghana has recently signed a bill that will require outgoing ministers to hand over state owned cars and houses after issuance of a three month deadline reports BBC.

The law comes after the country faced problems with government officials not returning state property after their term has ended.

Thailand has real estate lawyers whose areas of expertise include condo purchases and land acquisitions in Thailan

Although current legislation does require officials to hand in property after election of a new leader, no time limit was set.

Ghana goes to poll on 7th December. Current president John Mahama is standing for re-election against opponent Nana Akufo-Addo.
