Tests indicate that baby oat cereals contain glyphosphate

Recently, it was reported that Pharmaceutical vaccines contained trace amounts of a chemical herbicide, glyphosphate. The FDA has now confirmed that a variety of oat products also contain glyphosphate including oat cereals meant for babies according to Natural Society.
Although the amounts found are within the U.S’ limit of tolerance, which is 30 ppm, Nature Society reports that the U.S allows far higher glyphosphate amounts than other countries.
Glyphosphate has been found to be “probably carcinogenic” by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2015 and hidden studies conducted by Monsanto revealed that it caused tumor growth in animals.

Countries such as France and Sweden had asked glyphosphate to be banned in Europe earlier this year owing to the claims that it may cause cancer. The European Food and Safety Administration (EFSA) granted the herbicide a temporary extension pending further scientific studies according to Fox News.
Glyphosphate is a key ingredient in the major agribusiness Monsanto’s flagship herbicide product, Roundup. “In the U.S., about 100,000 pounds of glyphosate is used annually in the production of oats,” reports Nature Society.
