According to the Bangkok Metropolitan Waterworks Authorities, the tap water show below, from a flooded home in northern Bangkok, is completely safe to drink.
If you don’t believe the MWA, they have conceded that you may, if you have extra time on your hands, boil said water before you drink it.
What’s confusing for us is that Thais generally avoid drinking the country’s tap water before it has been purified even when it is clear. So what about this new yellow tinge has suddenly renderd Thailand’s tap water drinkable?
