The newest craze hitting Bangkok are trendy cafes where you can dine and have a coffee with animals. The Thai Law Forum visits one of these animal cafes in particular, the Big Dog Café, located next to the Thailand Cultural Center MRT station.
Owners, Khun Bird and Khun Oui, initially opened up a smaller café around a year ago. However, due to their overwhelming success with not only tourist but locals as well they expanded to a bigger location and have a total of 30 imported rare and hybrid breed dogs.
The import price of the dogs are not cheap as the Bolshoi dog featured in the interview costs around 200,000 baht. For more information watch Thai Law Forum’s interview at the Big Dog Café.
